Pitchputt Start

Turning pitchcar into a tabletop minigolf game, or if you prefer thematically, a rally mode.

I've printed a lot of extra pieces over the years including lots of cool features that I want to fit into every track I build. As table space is limited it's hard to fit everything together so I thought about just building sections at a time. That's when the idea came to build a rally track with checkpoints or a minigolf setup.

Pieces here are the start section with the chequered line printed separately which can be fit into place with glue. Hole numbers 1-9 are also available to print.
I've done 9 holes at once but you can just as esily do 1-3 holes at a time and rebuild the track for further holes later.

Dedicated starting section is 6.20mm high to prevent any issues with catching an edge at the start regadless of printer settings.
Start/End line is typical 6.00mm height though I prefer to use the minigolf hole pieces in my other upload to end my pitchputt holes.

Rules
like minigolf;

  • start anywhere along the chequered line though do not have any part of your disk over it. (A nice strategic choice to start with).
  • take all turns in succession until completion of that hole, then next players follows suit and so forth.
  • record number of flicks taken to reach end.
  • lowest score wins
