Pitch stop: A pitchcar pit stop

Pieces to make a pit stop detour on the side of the start line, or any standard straight section.

When pit stop is in play any player whose car flipped or left the track a certain number of times during a full lap must spend X turns in the Pit Stop before continuing the race.
For me personally I'd take some damage counters/tokens (from another game) and print up a table of damage taken versus turns in the pit stop (with diminishing penalty as more tokens are accrued as a catch up mechanism). I'm potentially looking to create some item boxes on the course to hit and give opportunities to discard these tokens along the course as well.
example (may vary depending on course length and group dynamics)
Damage > turns in pit
1 > 1
2 > 2
4 > 3
6+ > 4 Max

When entering the pit stop, touching it at any point in the flick counts and the disk is removed from play to await the appropriate number of penalty turns, whereupon you can start from anywhere in the marked box. If however you come to a complete stop within the boxed section you can leave a turn faster.

These pieces are a little larger than my typical pieces and would ideally require a minimum 220x220 sized bed.
