DeWalt battery to Parkside tool adapter
I recently bought my first cordless Parkside tool, a multi-purpose spreader for grass seeds, fertiliser, etc. Since I already have several Dewalt batteries, I decided against investing in an entirely new battery system and charger. Initially, I considered purchasing an adapter, but after seeing the prices, I thought it was worth taking the time to build one myself.
Besides the PLA 3D-printed parts, you’ll need the following to complete the project:
• 2 electrical wires, 10-15cm in length each, and in around 0.5-1mm cross-section.
• 2 x male Faston connectors or similar cutouts
• 3 x female Faston connectors or similar
• One 10k Ohm resistor.
• 4 x M3 Knurled Nuts and 4 x M3 x 20mm bolts (it will also work with any 4 wood screws).
• Glue gun or small 3d-printed parts to secure the metal bits.
Attached is a guide with pictures and assembly details.
