3D printed holder and cutting table for Proxxon FBS240E handheld device with cutting discs,
to cleanly cut aluminum, brass, CFRP, with connection piece for vacuum cleaner hose to protect skin and lungs. This makes it very easy to cut very short pieces of aluminum and CFRP pipes.

The 3D printed individual parts are assembled/glued together using short 1.8 mm pieces of carbon rod and epoxy. The lid is connected to the rear wall via a hinge with a 2 mm CFRP axis. A connection box with a suitable connection piece is glued to the back for connecting a vacuum cleaner.

The clamp holder for the FBS240E is inserted into the base plate and screwed tight from below with two M3 screws. The FBS240E is inserted into the holder, then clamped with the M3 screw, then the cutting disc is clamped into the drill chuck on the long shaft, fitting exactly under the saw slot in the lid. The lid is easy to open and closes with two magnets at the front. The protective cover over the cutting disc can be easily removed; it is adjusted/fixed to the lid with four magnets. There are suction openings in the lid in front of the cutting disc to suck up the abrasion.

To do this, the vacuum cleaner hose is pushed onto the nozzle at the back and secured with adhesive tape if necessary. Before operation, the cutting table must be clamped to the table with a clamp; it sits between the FBS240E holder and the cutting table.
