Pizza slice (3D scan)
A photogrammetry 3D scan of a slice of pizza. Delicious!
I strongly recommend using the "Cut" files for 3D printing, but I've included files for all of the following:
"Raw-Scan"
Unedited .glb model (with texture) of the pizza slice, including the wooden knife used underneath to stop it sagging during the scan."Whole-Tidied"
Full model (.stl) with the wooden knife carefully removed from the underside."Flattened"
Same as the "Whole Tidied" model, but with much of the bottom planed flat to print all in one go, flat on the bed. I don't recommend printing it this way because the result will be worse (visible layer lines on top, unrealistic flat bottom, extensive supports needed where the crust curves up)."Cut-Left", "Cut-Right", "Cut-Connector-A", "Cut-Connector-B"
Same as the "Whole Tidied" but cut in half down the middle to be printed vertically in two halves, with slots for connectors to ensure the halves are aligned perfectly when glued together. Printing in this orientation makes the layer lines practically invisible, with minimal and easily removable supports.
