I use these adapters a lot and often had problems with the small top bridge breaking, especially when using the heavy 8ah batteries and with changing weather and temperatures. So I thickened the top plate so that instead of the small bridge there is now a cavity (with a chamfer for easier mounting) for the securing clip.
(Sorry for removing the X20V Logo, I only use these batteries and don't need it.)
