Genmitsu 3018 Pro Cushion Feet

Genmitsu 3018 Pro Cushion Feet

Note: This is just one of many easy enhancements I have posted for the Genmitsu 3018 Pro CNC Router. None of my enhancements require any modifications to the stock hardware. Just bolt them on and go. If you look under my postings you'll see others including the Cable Chain, X,Y & Z Limit Switches, Vacuum Adapter, Cushion Feet, Clamping Set, E-Stop Mount and more.

As it comes the equipment sits on the bakelight front and back pieces which can carry a lot of vibration and make noise. This simple print allows you to add feet to the bottom and reduce that noise.

There are two different feet and two copies of each will need to be printed (total of four feet). These just pop on the bottom and are held firmly in place once on.

These should be 3D printed using TPU or Flex filament with 15% infill and no supports. TPU is a little tougher to print with as it is flexible and tends to want to jam as it is pushed through the extruder. To help alleviate this I turn the print speed down to 50% and sometimes I increase the temperature a little.

Also I design everything in OpenSCAD which is a free CAD program. I have included all of the source files I made which you can modify as you'd like.
