Summary

This is a multifunctional tea holder called T Drop. This unique product holds a tea ball infuser, includes a trash can for used tea bags, and a tea bag holder, making it a perfect addition to any desk or hospitality setting. The T Drop not only promotes a tidy space but also enhances the enjoyment of tea by providing a convenient and aesthetically pleasing solution for tea lovers. This project is currently being developed to be more modular and customizable.

How I Designed This

Drinking tea should be an enjoyable experience, but in professional settings, it often becomes an inconvenience. Used tea bags create a mess, and tea ball infusers roll around, leaving stains on desks and workspaces. This can be distracting—especially during meetings or when studying. To solve this, I designed T Drop, a sleek, multifunctional tea holder that keeps everything organized. My initial model combined a tea ball holder, a built-in trash can, and a tea bag holder into a single, compact design. After testing and gathering feedback, I refined it over 4 times—adjusting size, placement, and color—before redesigning it again to perfect the experience. Through multiple iterations, T Drop has evolved into a modern, practical solution that makes the tea process seamless and mess-free.

Future Ideas

In the future, I plan to expand T Drop by making each part fully removable for even greater customization and ease of use. I’ve been prototyping each component individually—the trash can, the strainer holder, and the tea bag attachment—ensuring that every element functions seamlessly on its own while working together as a cohesive system. This modular approach will allow tea lovers to personalize their experience, whether they need just one feature or the full setup. My goal is to make T Drop even more versatile and practical for tea lovers everywhere.
