Sword handle and pommel

The slot in the handle is 15mm by 15mm, the point of the handle is to be used for a wooden sword (although a metal blade would work too but you will have diffuculty making a 15mm by 15mm tang)
so if you make a wooden sword its tang must me 15mm by 15mm, the lenth of the tang will depend on the guard
I will also model a guard for this handle later
I have not yet printed it so yeah
the handle is 180 mm long
the wooden handle I turned on a lathe is very comfortable but the round design offerns no practicality for edge alignment
so I made an extra stl file with a flat surface on the side of the handle if you want that

Infill? I reccomend high percentage to make the handle durable

you'll want to glue the handle to the tang with 2 part apoxy resin glue same as knife smiths use
and I reccomend ruffing up the inside of the tang slot with low grit (course) sanding paper so that the glue can adhere
(be sure to wear a face mask that can filter VOC's when sanding plastics)
Also there are holes so that you can put a pin through the handle and tang, the hole is supposed to be 8mm diamter but idk what your printer will do
(8 mil douwel will work great for pin or you can print pins with knurling so you can glue them too)
and post processing will be required to make it look nicer

I would spray it with a viscous (thick) coating of something to hide layer lines
or wrap it with tape or twine to give it a nicer look
