Aneng AN8009 Multimeter Magnetic Mount and Replacement Back Plate

Standard magnetic hanger for the Aneng AN8009 multimeter.

This print provides a replacement battery cover plate with M2 press inserts for mounting.
The M2 mount points can be used to attach your own mounts or to attach a hanging strap.

Magnetic Hanger: Materials

• 20mm wide webbing strap cut to length. Use the tip of a soldering iron to make holes in the webbing as required.
• Strong magnet, this design has a 26mm OD 5mm thick magnet from my scrap bin.
• 4x M2 threaded inserts
• 4x M2 bolts

Tip:

• If using a magnetic hanger, embed a metal plate into the battery cover print to stow the magnet and hang the meter from a looped strap (see photos).
