Star Trek 1967 Doomsday Machine 32" lighted version

The 1967 Doomsday Machine, in four sections, printable with no support, simply align the outside edges when gluing up with CA glue.

I used the addressable LED rings pictured and created a stepped holder that can be glue into place.
Lighting control is provided by a Pi Pico.

I included a front lens to be printed in clear, but I had better result with a heat gun formed piece of lexan. I put a sheet of it on top of a large jar and heated it with a heatgun until it sagged down in the middle, trimmed it out and used that for the from lens.

You will also need to build up the area around the lens with bondo or putty.
I made a simple stand with hollow lamp rod holding up the model and housing the wiring.
