Ducting End Cap for Sunon 120x120x38mm Axial Ventilator (Noise Reduction & Airflow Improvement)

Description:

I designed this ducting end cap for the Sunon 120x120x38mm axial ventilator (200V) to improve airflow and reduce noise. The end cap helps to minimize chaotic airflow (I hope so at least) and makes the fan run more quietly by separating the flow with internal fins.

Features:

• Designed for the intake side of the fan
• Internal fins to improve airflow and reduce noise
• Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height
• Requires minimal support for the fins, with 0.8mm gap for easy removal
• Holes for mounting can be made manually using a soldering iron

Print Settings:

• Nozzle: 0.4mm
• Layer Height: 0.3mm
• Support: Minimal, for the fins only
• Gap between fins and support: 0.8mm

Notes:

• The end cap is designed for the intake side of the fan. If you wish to mount it on the other side, you will need to remove the internal textures.
• I used a soldering iron to create the mounting holes post-printing.
