The Blucher tank destroyer(Fictional, made up by me)
They say that the definition of insanity is trying the same thing repeatedly, expecting a different result each time.. Well, for the Germans, this appears to be just another day's work.. Here is the epitome of all the worst tendencies of German engineering in one vehicle: an E-100 turret atop a Ferdinand hull. Behold the most impractical, breakdown-prone hulking mass the German army has ever made in a desperate attempt to field more firepower. Two were made with casemates, essentially being overglorified Ferdinands. The last one had a turret installed but could barely function. These tanks, called the Blucher after the Field Marshal who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo, are some of the last tanks to be built by the crumbling Third Reich. So utterly insane that even Hitler questioned their use. They barely served in the defense of Berlin, with only three soviet tanks being taken out by one. Eventually, they broke down and were taken by the soviets to be examined. Whether you are a Flames of Wars or World of Tanks player, you can now field these beasts and wonder what those engineers were high on when they created this crime against God. (World of tanks players, please don't show this to Wargaming)
