Gas pump handle for Tesla NACS or J1772 EV Charger
Nothing turns heads like a gas pump sticking out of the side of a Tesla charging port. This is a simple single-color print, slightly smaller than a gas station handle. I removed unnecessary detail like the trigger and latch; because I was going for first-glance fashion, not function.
There are three sets of slots up the side. Insert the cable for the EV into the recessed center area and pull the tapered cone of the charging handle back into the print. Zip tie to keep it in place, and you'll likely use the charging handle itself (not this prop) – but it stays in place pretty well, even loosely connected with zip ties.
I printed this in a P1S, so I had to reduce it down below 256 (it's 248 mm tall). I printed it nozzle side (the side with the tapered insert for the ev plug) straight to the bed with a couple of tree supports for obvious overhangs at mid-body and the circular decoration on top of the pump handle.
