Vise Adapter To Remove Standard Size Ryobi Battery

Vise Adapter To Remove Standard 2Ah Size Ryobi Battery

If you have trouble removing your 18 Volt One+ Lithium battery from your ryobi tools, this will make that job easy. Place both the left and right 3D printed pieces into a shop vise and make sure they are aligned even with each other. Then put the battery (still on the tool) into the vise, so it is sitting on the flat platform of the 3D element. The tabs are perfectly aligned to go into the battery release slots, so tighten your vise JUST until you see the release tabs slightly indent. Then gently lift your tool up and away from the battery.

I have a notch indented into each side, because I put a thin adhesive magnet in the notch to make it easier to keep it in place on the vise while I used it. I don't think this is necessary though.

This is designed for a standard 2Ah ryobi battery. For the larger 4Ah battery, see my other listing here on Thingiverse. Also - watch the YouTube movie to see this in operation.

PS - this may work with other battery systems - I haven't tried any to verify that though.
