Adjustable Laptop Monitor Holder using Pencils
Having downloaded and used LiangJYu's version (Veritcal holder/stand for 15.6" portable monitor) which was awesome! The erasers on the pencils was such a trick idea! Anyway, I wanted to be able to change the angle of the screens, so I created my own version in OpenSCAD which allows you to enter the various details of your laptop, portable monitor and pencils and it tries to create a model to suit. It positions the pencil at the centre of the monitor for balance and to reduce strain on the laptop screen. Not all combinations work, sometimes the pencils are just too long!
Can also be used without pencils as a basic stand.
The STL is for a Nova Custom NV41 at 30 degrees with a Blaupunkt 14" Portable Monitor at 15 degrees using Faber-Castell Naturals 2B Graphite pencils.
Usage - Instructions are in the OpenSCAD model.
Hope this also helps someone else out there. :-)
