DNA Model Double Helix (12 base pairs)
Double-stranded DNA model created in Jmol from PDB 1BNA. The atoms are shown in spacefill 1.75. The model shows 12 base pairs. The files labeled "Chain A" and "Chain B" can be printed separately in different colors and then glued together.
Printed on Prusa Mini using PLA, 2.5 inches (57.3mm). Printed horizontally using organic supports on build plate only, 15% infill. Turned into a keychain by drilling a hole at one end using a 1/16" drill bit, adding a dab of Gorilla glue to glue the screw eye pin into the hole, and attaching a keychain to the eye/hook.
