Well, well, well...

Someone uploaded an AI generated well a few days ago, and... it kinda looked like shit. So I made my own.

I've included a version that has a modeled rope, though Ive intended that you actually use a bit of string or something to make your own. This is what the separated version is for, and a couple different buckets to suit your needs. Enjoy!

But lets take a moment to talk about AI generated content. I don't inherently have an issue with AI, or even AI art, but so many of the generated models that get uploaded here can only be described as "AI slop". Often these models are uploaded with misleading images - the image the generated model is based off of, which usually doesn't match the actual model.

People react to the model with likes/collects etc, which pushes these AI models to the "most popular" section of whichever site they are hosted on. This in turn buries the content created by actual artists, which can be quite discouraging when you spend hours or days creating something.

So what am I getting at? Check the models, support actual artists, and if you like what they make consider dropping a comment to let them know. (Or a donation) If you are going to generate/share a model from AI, add something to it - refine it. AI should be a tool, not a content generating machine.
