Pickup DIP-IC & Place

(In a time where SMD electronics has become almost standard, "through hole" technology is still used or a combination of both. I regularly assemble boards by hand with "through hole" components and like to use simple bending tools, which make my work easier.
One of them is this IC placer. The connection pins of DIP ICs are always bent slightly outwards as standard for clamping, but this does not allow them to fit directly into the holes of the PCB.
With this tool, you can easily pick up an IC by pressing the "clamps" over the pins. With this you bend the pins slightly inwards, so that the IC stays in place nicely and you can pick it up. Then hold the IC above the place where it should go and press the pins of the IC easily and quickly into the designated holes with the button.
Depending on the type of IC, the "clamps" and/or the "stamp" can be adjusted.
I have made a separate tool for each type of IC for my convenience. For a DIP6 IC there is a special narrow "clamp" and "stamp".
Good luck applying this tool.)
