Protective caps for Miller/Smith medium-duty (MW/MC/MT) series oxyfuel torch heads (SCAD)
The title says it all. This fits the medium duty series torch heads, as would be used in a torch handle such as MW5 or WH100 (e.g. MW205, MC509, etc). These caps help keep the ports clean and the o-rings undamaged when heads aren't mounted. As sized, the ID of the cap does not bear on the o-rings. That way, the roughness of the print won't leave impressions in the rubber.
These won't fit the heavy-duty series heads, but it's SCAD. If you have such a set, you should be able to work out the parameters and make the appropriate adjustments. I really doubt anyone is going to have either of these relatively uncommon torch styles, but I'm sure that they can print another useless fat animal figurine to ease the encroaching sense of loss.
Printed in cheap PLA, no supports or cleanup needed.
Uses Dan Kirshner's threads library (included).
