Crow T. Robot Puppet Kit remix: Articulated arms
I was making supinemonkey's excellent Crow T. Robot puppet kit and was surprised that the arms were solid pieces that didn't move. Now they do. Crrroooooooow!
Geometry is taken directly from the original Crow T. Robot puppet kit, split up in Sketchup, and slightly updated where appropriate for buildability. Use an M2x6 screw for the pins. At the current size there should be just enough poking out the back side of the joint plates to put a nut on there, which you can superglue in place. You'll need to drill out the holes on the links slightly (an M2 screw should thread into the joint plates about right, but the links should swing freely on the screw). All parts are identical from side to side except the hand (a mirrored STL of the hand is included). Color-coded sketchup model and plated parts STL are here as well as individual part files. Printed at .2mm layer height. Infill doesn't really matter too much. Add perimeters if you want the parts stronger but they're so small that none of it'll really matter much.
