8mm Brackets – DIN and Umbilical cord

8mm Brackets – DIN and Umbilical cord

2 brackets – designed for the Skeleton 3D Printer I made for my brothers printer, but will suit any 8mm shaft application similar

I printed 8 of the DIN rail brackets – 4 to hold the 2 sets of DIN rail to the printer and 4 to replace the Arduino / RAMPs board mount with a sheet of Makrolon / Lexan

And 1 of the Umbilical cord brackets to tie the main electrical cord back to the terminal rail

These brackets are not just for a Skeleton 3D printer they are very handy for other printers with 8mm shafts.

The DIN rail bracket uses an M3 screw and nut to clamp and an M5 screw to secure the DIN Rail or Mackrolon / Lexan plate – or whatever takes your fancy to mount the boards.

The Umbilical cord bracket uses an M3 screw and nut to clamp and 2 x 2.5 X 100mm cable ties to secure the umbilical cord or whatever cable / device you need securing.

I also screwed the Z axis voltage regulator to the umbilical cord bracket.

Enjoy
