Wii Nunchuck Grip & Extras
Here is the first version of the Wii Nunchuck Grip!
It's a bit rough around the edges but works well enough.
Wii NG.stl - is the actual grip. I tried to incorporate a screw hole big enough for a 3DP screw but the threads were too fine (on the grip and the screw) and just rubbed off, so instead I made a screw hole (3mm diameter) sunk in a bit, so you can either use an appropriately sized screw, a wire tie, some filament or even just super glue.
I found a neat compromise that I will add in here: If you grab one of those wire ties as shown in the third image above and thread it through like it's a bolt, then grab another, snip it's tail off and use the remaining head as a nut, you can then cut any extra tail off and it looks pretty tidy.You get bonus points if you followed that description :)
Wii NG UziRail.stl - is a longer rail for the WMP Uzi.
Wii NG VectorRail01 - is a longer rail for the WMP Vector.
Wii NG VectorRail02 - is the longest rail for the WMP Vector.
The longer rails are to give you hand space.
Wii NG NomadBody - Replacement Nomad body with rail attachment point.
Wii NG NomadRail - Rail to attach to new Nomad body
Wii NG Rail Screw - Universal screw used to attach all rails.
I did intend to make this work with the Stumpy too but after creating a model with the rail connection, I couldn't create enough space behind the Wiimote to fit the nunchuck connector.
Print the grip upside down with a brim as it doesn't have a lot of contact with the bed.
Once I get this to a point where I am happy with It, I will incorporate it into my future wmp projects. So the nunchuck might actually be the main trigger or at least be more stylised for the weapon it is with.
Nun-chuck this on and get a grip!
