Garage / Gate Remote Car Visor Holder - Straight Edges - Fits GTO / MightyMule / Linear remotes

This is a remix of another garage door remote holder, which I adjusted to my husband's request. He didn't want any kind of curve or spring type shape which might hurt his visor (I think it would have been fine), so I adjusted this model to have straight edges, as you can see in the images, and (I think) I resized it slightly for the brand of remote I have.

It fits my GTO / MightMule / Linear security gate remote perfectly. I tried PLA but that literally warped and bent out of shape in the intense Southern heat we have, so this time I used PETG, hoping that holds up to the heat of the car. It is actually perfectly snug, both on the visor and sliding the remote in. I don't think I need a zip-tie to keep it in place.

I have also included another STL file (which I prefer more than what's in the photographs) where the front support is thinner and further away from the remote's buttons.

Personally I always use rafts when I print for best adhesion, but not strictly required. I did use supports but if your printer is fast enough it might not be needed. Infill is your choice. I did 15% for a little flexibility, cubic pattern, but honestly it probably doesn't really matter as long as it's 10% or more. I also used the lowest quality resolution so make it print faster.
