How to create multiple colors using a single-head extruder?
For those of you who have a single-head extrusion system, you probably already know that you can change colors in the middle of a print by simply clipping and inserting the new filament as it is printing. So for this badge, I have purposefully made some of the words "taller" than the others so that you can achieve up to 3 colors. Notice ISTE 2015 is the "tallest" and is at the different height from Passion for Education. So as the printer is about to finish printing the last layer of Passion for Education, I started to swap to the next filament to get the final (orange) color on my ISTE2015 badge.
