Dewalt DCCS620 Chainsaw Mount

These are mounts for the Dewalt DCCS620 20V 12in chainsaw to mount it vertically on a wall. The chainsaw will slide onto the battery mount and then lock in at the top of the bar to hold it securely. Here's a link to a short video clip of how it's used: https://youtu.be/LxeBnFHOoB8

There is one mount that will connect to the chainsaw on the battery connector and carries all of the weight of the chainsaw. There is a second mount that clips around the cover for the chainsaw bar and helps to lock it down. I mounted it vertically like this to keep the bar oil from leaking when it is stored, so far no issues.

There are a few variants of the Dewalt 20V 12in chainsaw, I think that this should work for those as well based on the images I found online but I have not tested those. I designed and tested this with the DCCS620.

Installation:

  • Mount the battery mount on the wall. Use a level and leave a few inches of clearance to the right of the mount so that the chainsaw can slide onto the mount.
  • Once the battery mount is attached to the wall, put the chainsaw with the plastic bar cover installed on the battery mount and attach the bar latch to the bar cover and adjust the location. Mark the holes and screw to the wall using anchors if necessary.

Print settings

  • Material: PETG
  • Fill: 40%
  • Support:
    • Battery mount: yes
    • Bar cover mount: no

Future Improvements:

  • Add a spring loaded button to lock in the tool on the battery mount (similar to what's on a 20V battery). This doesn't seem to be necessary so far.
