I visited the area and personally took videos and photos of the penguins. Based on these, I designed kit cards which lets you build gentoo penguins in three life stages—from egg to chick to adult.</p><p>This kit card is designed for anyone interested in Antarctic wildlife—especially penguins—from children to adults.<br>You can enjoy assembling the pieces while learning about the penguin’s appearance and life cycle. (No glue is required for assembly.)</p><p>Once you’ve finished assembling the penguins, try coloring them using the reference photos.<br>(Acrylic paint is recommended. Do you like the penguins I painted?)<br>Finally, insert the two small feet beneath the title card and stand it in front of the penguins like a little signboard—and you're done!</p><p>Explanation of 3D print</p><p>In the 3D modeling photo, blue is the parent penguin, teal is the baby penguin, yellow is the egg, and coral is the parts for the sign.<br>The files for this kitcard are available in three versions. One with sprue, another without sprue. The other is the version with the cutout sign, which is recommended if you're not coloring.</p><p>Description of the file photo<br>(All photos were taken by me during my visit to Antarctica.)</p><ol><li><p>Penguin Village: The sanctuary, located about 2 kilometers from Sejong Science Base in South Korea, is home to thousands of pairs of gentoo and chinstrap penguins raising their chicks.(62°14'15"S 58°46'28"W)</p></li><li><p>Gentoo Penguin: Distinguished by its red beak and white band-like pattern around its eyes, it is the third largest of the penguin species, but it is skittish.</p></li><li><p>Parent and Chick: Gentoo penguins typically lay two clutches of eggs, which are alternately cared for by the father and mother penguins. About six weeks after hatching, the chicks replace down with waterproof feathers, learn to swim at about eight weeks, and soon become independent of their parents.</p></li><li>Broken Egg: Broken eggs are sometimes found in Penguin Village This could be an unfortunate parental mistake, but it could also be the work of brown skuas that target penguin eggs or chicks.</li></ol></div>
