Ryobi/Elec-Trak brushless motor adapter ring

This space ring will adapt a 4" brushless motor, such as is found in Ryobi 40V push mowers to the mounting pattern of a G.E. Elec-Trak mower deck so that you can upgrade from brushed to brushless mower motors.

Please note that this was tested on a two-blade deck such as was used on an E8M. It may not match the depth/height of the blades on a front-mount 3-blade deck such as that for an E-15. I'll probably be working on another version just for that in the future.

Use 1" long flat-head 1/4-20 bolts to go up through the motor flange and lock in place with a 1/4-20 nylock nut.

The combined unit should then fit right into the mower deck.

I 3D-printed this, but it could easily be made from aluminum or plywood. If 3D printed, use heavy enough of an infill to make it sturdy and be sure to use a durable heat-resistant filament material.
