Game Base marker and pin
I liked the idea of kaimimue's pin and marker, but wanted to improve a couple of things. Not all 25mm base figures have close enough diameter to fit the same base, so I designed one with a built-in leaf spring to gently wedge the figure's base into the tapered inside of this marker base. This reasonably securely accommodates nearly all of the variations I have access to test.
I split the pin into two parts so they could be built on the base plate without supports and the pin pressed into the hole in the upper bit. Some filaments press-fit nicely, others are tight or too loose, so a drip of glue may be called-for. That same variation means some are tight in the game trays and others loose. Print one on your machine with the filament you want and adjust the scale to your trays.
The little pins probably want a brim of some sort. I did not try to print the marker pins assembled, but could be done with support without compromising geometry.
I printed in PLA with 0.4mm nozzle and .2 mm layer.
