Pintsch Gas Car (HO SCALE)
The something in the future, Betchya didn't guess this LOL!
So, basically before electricity this is what you used to light passenger cars or cabeese, as it produced a brighter light than keroscene, and this is a portable car for its storage and production, so if you had like a work train in the middle of nowhere you'd have this on there or otherwise you'd just have it in the yard doin its thing and occasionally fuel passenger cars and cabeese from it.
I've included just the shell to fit to a normal flatbed if you like too, or use the stuff included
When assembling, please note:
- Heat the trucks before inserting the wheels if they're cold.
- If you use off the shelf trucks you need to make your own screw holes and whatnot, but they work great still.
- The shells can just be glued to the chassis, it works and is durable.
- Everything needed for the couplers is included exept attachment (screws, toothpicks, glue, what have you)
- You can use screws, but cutting toothpicks to size, inserting, and pushing them in with pliers works great
- Use whatever 33in wheels you want, but I prefer Intermountain
- handle that brakeriggin with care btw, things real thin
- Run string along the truss rods like on any old roundhouse kit and tie off.
