Onemouse + side button (upd. 03/01/26)

Modifications Summary

I added a side button to the original design, and made the following changes:

Front Part

  • Added two holes to improve rigidity. This was necessary based on testing, in CS2, the mouse_1 button would stay pressed for too long. Trying to shoot a single bullet rapidly with the AK often resulted in a full spray.
  • Other minor modifications were made, but none had a significant effect.

Back Part

  • Added functionality for the side buttons.

Battery Holder (Porta_batteria)

  • Retained the original AAA battery holder, as I prefer longer battery life and don’t mind the extra weight.
  • Modified the holder so it can be mounted without desoldering the DPI button.
  • Lowered the screw hole height, as the original design didn’t leave enough thread for proper fastening.

Note: On the front part, the area that presses on the switches was uneven due to support structures.
To overcome this, I applied a coat of clear gloss (e.g., Tamiya X-22).

Suggestion

To improve grip on the lateral mouse use grip tape, or a cheap solution is to scratch them with a knife in a random pattern, or fuzzy skin if your slicer has the feature.
