Magnetic Rubber Band Holder
I use Wall Control steel pegboards to try to impose some degree of order onto the chaos that is my workbench. One item that I found shockingly useful was a little magnetic gadget that I could use to store a hand full of rubber bands. It basically is just a small plastic ring with a gap that you can use to load up with rubber bands and when I need one to tie up a cable or whatever, I just reach up and pull one off. I got mine at Daiso a few years ago, but I haven't seen them there for a while, so I dusted off OnShape and decided to make something similar that I could use at a different bench.
I had some of these craft magnets from Harbor Freight which are exceptionally cheap ($.99 for two) and reasonably strong, even if they aren't particularly small, so I decided to use them. I printed mine in the black filament that I had loaded in the printer,
nothing about it is that critical. I didn't spend any time thinking about hot to eliminate overhangs,
so you'll probably want to print it with tree supports.
You could probably design something better, but it suited my purposes, and I thought I'd share.
