OpenForge 2.0 Cut Stone LED Torch Wall (simplified, triplex, side clips)
I needed an OpenForge 2.0 Cut Stone LED Torch Wall, but I wasn’t a fan of Devon’s official design, which requires a separate power tile. Since I already use Magikmancer’s simplified LED Torch Wall for the Dungeon Stone set, I took the interior from that model and placed the Cut Stone shell around it. It took a couple of tries, but now it prints beautifully (see instructions below).
The original design uses 3 mm flicker LEDs, but I couldn’t find an affordable source for them, so I opted for 5 mm flicker LEDs instead and scaled up the torch flame cover. Both sizes work and look great, so choose whichever you prefer. As with all my builds, I added a triplex base, but I’ve also included a no-base version.
Update: I remade the model using Blender and added a version with side clips.
Print Guide:
- 0.2mm layer height (0.28 also works for the no-base version, wouldn't use for triplex, tho)
- Use manual supports for the torch; this makes printing a little trickier but reduces post-processing.
- Print the LED flame cover with transparent filament.
