Mount replacement for Insta360 One X

This is made to be printed with TPU, with 15 walls and 100% infill. If you print it with anything other than TPU, then the screw hole will probably be too small to screw in. TPU compresses so the screw hole needed to be a bit tighter. Print it with TPU so that it won't break.

I made this remix because I broke the mount on my Insta360 One X, which meant that I could no longer mount it anywhere.
I use it in aerial sports so I can't just mount it with the little screws at the bottom or trust my camera on a PLA case print. I found this to be a mount that I can trust fully.

This was designed to be mounted to the camera using tape. It doesn't block the battery compartment, nor the sd card, but it does block the micro usb port so keep that in mind. If you don't have an external charger, maybe go get one first. This mount was designed so that you install it one time and it stays there. You can't just take it off every time as you have to take off all the tape and re-install it afterwards.

After you print it, make sure you use a small cutter to clean up the sd card hole. It should be clean with no overhanging tpu, so the sd card can be inserted easily. TPU tends to overhang a lot so take your time with cleaning it before you install it.

Before you install it, make sure to clean your camera with something like isopropyl alcohol, so that the tape holds as good as possible.

Make sure you align the print to the camera correctly so that the sd card hole is visible. Don't add the tape if you aren't sure that the sd card hole is correctly aligned. If you install this correctly, the SD card should be reachable with tweezers. You can install or uninstall the sd card with the back of the tweezers which is a lot safer for the sd card, and then once you hear the click, you can grab it with the tweezers but always be careful not to damage the sd card.

Once installed, the buttons may be covered with tape, but still 100% pressable. You can add some tape with different color on top of the button location so you can easily find it when using it.
