Box for 8-inch Dado Saw Blade Set

My wooden box for my dado set broke, so I designed this on Tinkercad. The box was too big for my print bed, so I broke top and bottom into fourths and made cutouts in the sides, and joining pieces to hold it together with hot glue. I took the interior foam and hinges and latches off the old box and used them on the new. I don't know if this is useful to anyone, but it's sturdy and will work for me and was fun to design and make.

  1. Print 4 each of the top and bottom parts;
  2. Print 24 joiners;
  3. Print 1 post;
  4. Join bottom pieces together with joiners and hot glue (does a good job; I haven't tried CA glue);
  5. Join top pieces together with joiners and hot glue;
  6. Glue post into center of bottom.
  7. Extra parts you may need: foam padding, hinges, latches and screws.
  8. Finished product is 220mm x 220mm x 45mm; top is 18mm high; bottom is 27mm high.
