VW MK7 Golf R GTI IS38 Boost Leak Checker System

Comes with turbo plug & TMAP inlet plug. You will reuse the factory o-rings.
I was able to test without a good seal just fine as well, past 40psi.

Note that the plug is not perfect because the IS38 'fingers' are not at a perfect triangle.
Print tall-waze, not flat.

UPDATE! V2 is the way to go if you have access to a swivel adapter - you source all the air through the turbo inlet itself, and pattern is corrected for proper fit. Still getting tiny leak even through o-ring but highly sufficient for boost leak checks.
