I'd recommend adding about half to a full millimeter to your device and plug measurements for tolerance. Optionally, you can make it wider to make space for attaching a felt pad internally to protect from scratches.

Design your wall mount, attach it to the wall with either screws or double-sided tape, and secure your charging plug with either hot glue, Sugru, or equivalent adhesive that solidifies. I recommend leaving your device plugged in while your adhesive cures to ensure it stays in the right place.
