GSM Access Hub for Airbnb/Booking Hosts

Summary

The GSM Access Hub is a DIY project designed especially for Airbnb and Booking hosts.
It allows you to manage access to your property’s gate or barrier without depending on the property manager.

The hub works as a middle layer:

it receives incoming calls and SMS commands,

checks the whitelist of allowed numbers (FIFO – new numbers overwrite the oldest),

and only then dials the gate opener.

This way, you can easily control who has access – perfect for short-term rental hosts who want to provide guests with simple gate access by just calling the SIM card number.
