Vintage Iron Work Inspired Paper-Towel Holder - #CountertopChallenge
I was inspired by vintage Iron Work I-Beam construction to design and make this paper-towel holder. I wanted a paper towel holder for my workshop, but didn't see anything I liked; After seeing an old photo of a skyscraper construction, I got the idea to fashion this with I-Beam type construction using nuts & bolts. I also like to use magnets when I can, so I incorporated magnets into the hinge mechanism to keep the hinge "closed", but also allow it to open easily for changing paper towel rolls.
This can be mounted under a cabinet or to a wall.
As a side note: this can also be used as a toilet paper roll holder.
