F.P.A.P. 3.75 in Retro Action Figure 5 Points of Articulation Easy Reassembly
This is an original 3.75 inch / 1:18 scale action figure named F.P.A.P. The figure is inspired by Fisher Price Adventure People, but in this case F.P.A.P. stands for either "Functional Planetary Assistive Parasuit" where it is a human wearing a robotic exoskeleton suit OR "Functional Protocol Android Prototype" where is it an android.
Design Features:
- 5 points of articulation: arms, legs and head rotate.
- front and back attached by a single M3x10 mm machine screw. The benefit of this is that the figure can be easily assembled and taken apart again. This facilitates mixing and matching of different heads, arms, legs, etc.
- the hair is a separate stl file so that it's easy to print different hair colors, no painting required!
- BOTH hands can hold things, like a blaster or a walkie-talkie
- hole on underside of feet for placing on action figure stands
- holes in eyes to make it easy to put a dot using a thin sharpie
- legs can bend to 90 degree angle forwards and backwards
- head can rotate 360 degrees and also bend down forwards
By switching filament colors during 3D printing, many interesting combinations can be made - see pictures!
The figure fits into any of the Planetary Explorer Module spaceships here among my other designs. Will also fit into various other sci-fi ships and vehicles that share the same 1:18 scale. Can use accessories from other listings here, but will add a few here for convenience.
More heads and helmets coming soon!
Added files for arm, leg and neck joints in case you want to make your own arms, legs and heads!
Added a head with hair on it in case you don't want to print the head and hair separately.
I may print a few of these and put them up on https://www.ebay.com/str/petesactionfigures
