The Nature of Science (NOS) puzzle is a hands-on activity that shows you how science really works. You start with some puzzle pieces, which represent what we currently know. Then, you get a new piece—like a new scientific discovery—that doesn't fit with your original puzzle. This forces you to change your entire puzzle to make sense of the new information. It teaches you that science isn't just a list of facts; it's always changing and growing as we learn more.
