Trajan Organizer - Remix for smaller printers

I recently acquired a used copy of the board game Trajan and wanted to print an insert for it. I really liked this design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3543804) by Stinkfoot71 (https://www.thingiverse.com/stinkfoot71/designs) but my printer has a print area of 220x220 so one of the files was too large. I decided to make a few changes to accommodate my printer while keeping Stinkfoot71's general layout.

I redesigned the whole bottom layer, the player trays, and split/remixed the Trajan tile holder while keeping Stinkfoot71's card holder and 2x tokens exactly the same. As you can see in the photos, for the random setup tokens I use some 13 cm x 16 cm microfiber bags that I got from the BoardGameGeek store (https://boardgamegeekstore.com/products/microfiber-drawstring-bags) but these are not required.

Make sure you print:

  • 4 of 'TrajanPlayerTray-x4.stl'
  • 4 of 'TrajanMiscTokenTrays-x4.stl'
  • 2 of 'TrajanTiles-x2.stl'
  • 1 of everything else

And few other notes:

  • Admittedly the bottom layer doesn't have the best structure to hold up the top layer which is why a 'floor' was necessary for the Trajan tile holders. Everything holds up great once the whole top layer is in, though.
  • It looks like there is enough room in the card holder for sleeved cards but that is not something I've tested.
  • My copy of the game is currently being stored laying down but it shouldn't have any problems being stored vertically. As with many game organizers it is possible the tokens in the bottom layer could fall through some cracks and become disorganized if the game lid started loosening during vertical storage (not a concern if using the bags).
