Altoid Excavation kit

This 3D-designed insert is made to fit inside a standard Altoids tin, turning it into a compact and practical field kit for small scale archaeological or outdoor documentation work, made by me a Norwegian Archeologist. I never leave home without it, just incase i ever need to quickly make a smal excavation. The insert includes a small trowel, tweezers, a 7 cm measuring scale, and a north arrow, all neatly arranged for easy access and organization.
Additionally, the insert features a small compartment designed to hold up to 10 standard-sized finds bags, conveniently covered with a slim lid to keep them secure and protected.

  1. The trowel enables precise excavation or surface cleaning.

2.The tweezers allow careful handling of delicate or minute finds.

3.The 7 cm scale offers a reliable reference for size and proportion in documentation or photography.

4.The north arrow ensures accurate orientation in mapping and recording.

The finds bag compartment keeps sample storage tidy and ready for immediate use.

Together, these components create a compact, multifunctional kit ideal for quick fieldwork, artifact photography, or educational demonstrations, emphasizing portability, organization, and efficiency.
