2.5" Hard Drive Caddy for HP t740 Thin Client

This 3D model provides a custom bracket for mounting a 2.5 inch SSD or HDD inside an HP t740 Thin Client. The bracket replaces the riser card used for the PCI Express expansion slot and allows a clean and secure installation of the drive. It fits precisely into the existing chassis and is ideal for upgrading your t740 with additional storage.

For this upgrade, a M.2 (NGFF) to SATA III adapter board is required, such as an M.2 7-Pin SATA III to 7-Pin SATA 3.0 cable adapter converter board compatible with NGFF 2242, 2260, and 2280 SSDs.

To prevent overheating, open the chassis and remove the expansion slot cover from the rear I/O panel to improve airflow and heat dissipation. You can replace the cover with the new 3D-printed model featuring ventilation holes.
