R36S face button spacer ring - button softener fix

Hello. This is the best solution (the best fix) for your R36S face buttons. We know that the stock face buttons are thick and uncomfortable compared to the original Game Boy face buttons, which have short travel and don't require much force to press.

I'll show you the fix.

Requirements & Idea
You'll need to 3D print the ring attachments for each face button. The main idea is to shorten the key travel and soften the button press by keeping the face button perpetually half-pressed. I've designed a special spacer ring that makes the face button stay half-pressed; you can download the file in the description.

Steps to Follow
First: Complete the Face Buttons cut fix as demonstrated by Joey's Retro Handhelds. Follow the instructions for disassembling the device. You can find the video link in the description.

Second: Install the 3D-printed button spacer ring onto each face button.

Third: Reassemble the device. Done!

You'll feel the difference immediately. It is much better than the stock buttons. The key travel is much shorter, and the button press is much softer. I hope this helps.
