🧩 Shapes and Colors (Cores e Formas)

This project recreates Cores e Formas, an educational strategy game originally published by MindLab.
It’s a logic and spatial reasoning game for up to four players, where each participant must plan their moves carefully to fit their colored pieces on the shared board while minimizing leftover tiles.

This upload includes:

• One STL file for the board, with “Cores e Formas” embossed on each of its four sides.
• One STL file containing all 21 pieces for a single player, ready to be printed in the color of your choice (blue, yellow, red, or green).

You’ll need to print four sets of pieces (one per color) and a single board to play.

🎯 Game Objective

To have the fewest remaining squares in your unused pieces at the end of the game.

📦 Components

• One grid board
• 84 pieces total, 21 per player color (blue, yellow, red, and green)

Each player’s 21 pieces consist of:

• 1 piece made of one square
• 1 piece made of two squares
• 2 pieces made of three squares
• 5 pieces made of four squares
• 12 pieces made of five squares

The pieces represent every possible way these squares can connect edge-to-edge.

🕹️ Rules of Play

1. Each of the four players chooses a color and takes the corresponding 21 pieces.
   Each piece has a unique shape composed of 1–5 connected squares.

2. The first piece each player places must cover the starting square in their corner of the board.
   The game begins with the Blue player, followed clockwise by Yellow, Red, and Green.

3. Every new piece placed must touch at least one piece of the same color, but only at a corner (vertex).
   Pieces of different colors may touch each other freely along edges or corners.

4. If a player cannot legally place a piece, they pass their turn.
   The game ends when no players can make a move.

5. Each player then counts the number of individual squares in the pieces they were unable to place.
   Each square equals one penalty point.
   The player (or team) with the lowest total score wins.

Team Variant:
For team play, Blue and Red form one team and Yellow and Green form the other.
