Low Profile PCI Slot 80mm Fan Mount Bracket for Plink IPC-2350F

I wanted something that would allow me to easily attach an 80mm fan to the PCIe slot screw holes. This is for the Plink IPC-2350F 2U rack case specifically. It really should work on any 2U case as long as you have 82mm of clearance measured from the top of the PCIe slot cover to the bottom of the inside of the case.

I did make the walls around the fan pretty beefy as I was having problems with the fan screws splitting the plastic. The version pictured is the 50MM extension but I did add another 2mm to the outside of the screw holes to make the wall less prone to splitting. Printing at .2mm and 100% infill is recommended. Upping the print temp a little bit might help if you are using PLA like me.

Only thing you need for this print is normal computer fan screws and an 80mm fan. The tab that goes over the PCI slot cover is 1.5mm thick and will play nice with the normal coarse thread screws that hold the slot cover in place. It is designed to sit over the slot cover. Adding a little foam to the top and bottom will help with vibration. I plan on using some double sided foam tape. Basically attach one side of the tap to the top and bottom of the assembly and leave the cover on the other side of the tape so it doesn't stick to anything. The extension measurement is the distance between the PCI slot blank and the side of the fan.
