Re: Charm is a creative intervention that encourages students to consider the real-world impact and origin of the materials they use, particularly recycled and scrap wood that often feels ‘free’ and overlooked. Developed and situated within the university's wood workshop, it helps students actively engage with the lifecycle of materials, learning about conscious consumption through hands-on, customised making of bag charms and material origin stamps. Each stamp collected marks a moment of reuse, sustainability, and a shared contribution to the communal collection.
