1/2 Inch Pipe Adapter for Lamp Socket Replacement (Socket cap, with slot for knob)

Seems the hardware store does not have 1/2 inch threaded lamp socket caps, and I needed to fix my lamp. This worked okay with the 1/8th inch kit I found at the store [2].
Thru trial and error (and the cut tool, in Bambu Studios) I managed to use a small amount of the threads (6mm or so) of model [1] at a time, and found a fit.
Then using a bolt model, I did the same to the pipe thread- threading it into the base of the old socket cap, and scaling as needed again. Using the negative part function, I was able to install those in the tip of the model.
Had to add a few cylinders too, so there would be good passage for the cables, and strength. A negative rectangular prism and another cylinder, rotated this time, made for a good knob slot. Then with Mesh Boolean, I was able to make this STL.

Fits fairly well, but wires may be tight under the replacement socket, making for a too tense of a fit with the socket shell- Added extra thread to the bottom, so it will have some extra room there. I'm really glad this worked, saved me a good lamp!
Of course: don't run the 250w of the stock rating thru it. I would say 40 watt incandescent max. Most LED bulbs would work fine.

Edited with: Bambu Studio.
0.12mm layer height. 3 wall, 35 infill (cubic). No adhesion should be needed, or outer brim only.
You can use supports, but I would make sure the threads aren't supported. I did not use them.
