Twirlio - the base set
I re-imaged a toy I created with a friend(Adam Tobin) in the 90s: String-a-ma-Thing.
You stick the wheels to the wall, and the doodads on the wheels. put a string between them and pull to ends of the string to cause the whole wall to spin and twirl!
All pieces are from scratch. Printed with a Bambu 1X Carbon(). I used Bambu's filaments, some regular nylon string, and 3M command strips.
There are a few parts that require multiple filaments: the spiral, the triple-propeller, and the circle. I combined these in the bambu slicer as a single part, then spec'ed the colors. I'll put up a video about how to do this.
I'll be updating this as I make more parts, and to refine and perfect. I also will make some videos showing how this works when I get a chance.
